Acer, Asus and Lenovo are reportedly getting ready to promote a touchscreen notebook promotion in 2013. In that year, a touch screen device shipments predicted to be 10 to 15 percent of total notebook shipments.
As revealed by Digitimes, while panel manufacturers have a more optimistic view. They anticipate a touch screen device shipments will reach 20 percent of total notebook shipments in 2013.
It was triggered by the presence of Microsoft Windows 8 is expected to change the shape of the PC market, by increasing popularity of touch screen notebook.
Digitimes sources believe that Acer, Asus and Lenovo are included in some of the vendors that aggressively targeting touch screen notebook market.
For example, Acer is expected to provide a touch screen device approximately 10 to 14 percent of total notebook pengalan besutannya in 2013. While Asus and Lenovo will fill 15 to 20 percent of the total shipments of notebooks with touch screen products.
